Antlers for squirrels

Squirrels LOVE to gnaw on deer antlers! Their teeth keep growing and this is one way to keep them trimmed down, getting some much needed calcium that their diet usually lacks.

Antlers are bone, they require a lot of calcium to grow, and this is a precious nutrient in nature. When, these calcium-rich antlers drop off, the nutrients contained don’t just go to waste on the forest floor, mice, deer, squirrels or even foxes gnaw, ingest and recycle.

An antler for wildlife make the perfect addition to any country garden hoping to attract and retain wildlife
