Bumper turn out at Open Day
The Open Day attracted nearly 50 visitors from all over the region on a lovely sunny September day. We started the event with a farm walk, where we saw the deer, zwartble sheep, limousin cattle, texel sheep, geese, hens, ducks and quail of course.
Once we had developed an appetite walking we listened and watched the “Baking Farmer” make 4 baguettes and then sampled 4 loaves of bread.
The venison samples included sirloin, burgers, spicy venison casserole, sweet and sour venison, wild rabbit with mushroom.
