The last 12 month storey with antlers has been very unusual.

The first fallow buck cast his antlers 20th April

The last fallow buck cast his antlers 15th may

Red Deer stag cash his antlers 5th May

The Sika is still holding on to his.

The antler growth was very slow to start then extremly  rapid last year due to the dry weather and the heavy rainfall. Consequently the antlers were very brital and several bucks snapped their antlers in the rut.

Lets see what the weather brings with regrowth this year
