So far this winter the deer are looking well.

The fallow deer have had a relatively straight forward winter, so far, this year.  The deer had a super dry summer in 2014 where there was plenty of grass and sunshine, enabling the does to enter the winter with plenty of body fat and strong healthy fawns.

We have continued to supplement the deer with Crystalyx blocks, local hay and concentrate.  The Crystalyx has proved essential to ensure plenty of Copper is available in the diet.  Lets hope the remainder of the winter is kind to the  deer.
